What should the dancefloor expect to hear this Friday?

An exciting mixture of disco, rock & house music inspired by the current summer sun.

What’s on your stereo at the moment?

Gary Wright - ‘Love is Alive’ killer blue eyed soul from 1975.

Who are your favourite artists & producers right now?

Apiento, Begin & Grimes.

Who are your biggest influences?

Model 500, Francois Kevorkian, Steve Reich, The The, Pink Floyd, Andrew Weatherall & Ron Hardy.

What’s the greatest party you’ve ever been to?

Nirvana, 3pm Friday afternoon on the 2nd stage, Reading Festival 1991.

Hows the new material coming along?

Surely.

Apologies for the lack of posts, we’ve been hard at work planning our official launch party due to take place this Saturday 28th April at Questionmark Bar with guest DJ Mike Simonetti.

We caught up with Mike for a short interview ahead of the show this weekend to see what he has coming up in 2012.

It’s been a while since you last played London, are you glad to be coming back?

Yes, it’s been a while. I am glad to come back! I took a year off to be with my family and to work on my record, which was released last year. Now I am back on the road.

What’s on your stereo at the moment?

Not much because I’m always on the road. But when I’m home its NPR and Howard Stern

Who are your favourite artists & producers right now?

I’ve been into the unreleased Tom Moulton edits I managed to get my hands on.

Who are your biggest influences?

My son and the weather

What’s the greatest party you’ve ever been to?

My son’s first birthday party. nobody dj’d but the birthday cake was good!

What are your plans for 2012?

Touring, remixing, some secret projects, a new record, and a baby girl.
